Wet Pour rubber surfacing has become increasingly popular as a choice for play areas.

Once layed, it provides a smooth, clean, continuous surface which is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The surfacing is permeable, hence alleviating problems with puddling associated with traditional tarmac playground areas following rainfall.

The surface is layed to neatly surround all play equipment supports without any joins or potential trip hazards.

A variety of colours are available (shown (left), including design work and graphics. Maintenance requirements are minimal, only an occasional clean is required.

Venture Plays wet-pour is a variable depth 2-layer system consisting of a base layer of SBR recycled (tyre) rubber granule and a wearing course layer of EPDM rubber granule. Both types mixed with a solvent-free polyurethane resin binder.

Venture Play recommends this for use in playgrounds, school playgrounds, walkways and patio areas.

Our wet-pour complies with:- BS7188 BSEN 1177 BS903 + Tensile & Elongation.

The surface is porous and we guarantee it for 5 years.

Colour Range
All our safety surfaces are installed professionally and we use the very high quality Gezolastic EPDM rubber which as well as having several patented processes in its manufacture, is the only EPDM available in the UK with a UV stability guarantee across its whole range of colours. We regularly update our range of colours in order to give our clients even more choice and push the boundaries of our safer surface designs.
